HMDA LAR Export
Normalized HMDA loan application records for Caddo and Bossier parishes, 2007–2024 — consistent schema across the 2018 format change, enriched with parcel-level flood zone, distress, and adjudication status.
About this product
HMDA data is public but nearly unusable for multi-year analysis. The CFPB's 2018 format overhaul created a schema break that makes pre/post comparison require substantial normalization work. This product delivers a consistent schema across the full 2007–2024 span — one file, one format, 17 vintages reconciled.
RRA enrichment adds parcel-level physical context unavailable in the raw HMDA file: FEMA flood zone and SFHA designation, ground subsidence rate, composite parcel distress score, and adjudication status for the origination address. These fields enable analyses that the raw LAR cannot support — such as whether denial rates correlate with physical risk exposure, or whether originations are concentrated in lower-distress areas.
Primary use cases: CRA self-assessment (community banks documenting coverage across their assessment area), fair housing analysis (denial rate disparities by geography and borrower characteristics), academic research, and investment geography screening.
